MCG visit a real blast

A group of Baden Powell College students had the thrill of their young cricketing lives when they played on the hallowed turf of the MCG.

Aiman, Jacob, Jayden, Arshan, Aayan, Kumail, Paawan, Milan and Sai took part in the state final of the MILO T20 Blast, a program for boys and girls aged seven to 12.

To make the finals, the boys won the T20 Blast’s north-west region finals.

The members of the Tarneit college’s team all said they were very proud of their achievement.

“I cannot believe we have made it this far and have the opportunity to play on the MCG,” Arshan said.

The boys thanked their coach Jack Rhodes for being a great mentor and Arifa Rehana for assisting them with transport.
