Manor Lakes man sells winning lotto entry

Manor Lakes New and Lotto owner Raj Sharma said he’s ‘over the moon’ for the winners of a $545,000 TattsLotto entry that he sold.

Seven Manor Lakes professionals shared a division one win on Saturday, July 16.

Mr Sharma said he hoped the win changed the recipients lives in a very positive way.

“I was so happy for the customers, best time to win I reckon, because everyone is struggling,” he said.

“It feels so good, it was just the best thing in the world, when i found out…I couldn’t believe it, my heart was racing… even though it’s not mine, it feels like I won myself, because I sold it.”

Mr Sharma said he always believed it was only a matter time before he sold a division one winning entry.

“We sold out 31 division twos in the last five years, we were always very close,” he said.

The winner said she and her workmates had been sharing a lottery entry for many years.

“It’s wonderful timing as I’m going on holiday this month – it’s really boosted the trip,” she said.

“I’m not sure what the rest of the group will spend their prize on, but we will definitely celebrate as a group.”
