Man sustains suspected life-threatening injuries

A man has sustained serious injuries after allegedly being struck by a car in Werribee yesterday.

Police have charged a 19-year-old Werribee man with intentionally cause serious injury in relation to the incident, which occurred in a carpark at the intersection of Kookaburra Avenue and Parakeet Road just after 4pm.

Police said that a physical altercation allegedly took place between the victim and another man, before the victim was struck by a car.

The injured man, a 30-year-old Werribee resident, was taken to hospital with suspected life-threatening injuries.

A 19-year-old Werribee man has been remanded in custody to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’Court today.
