Police are appealing to the public for information relating to the stabbing of a man during a suspected road rage altercation in Tarneit on Thursday, January 23.
Police understand that the victim, a 30-year-old Hoppers Crossing man, was driving along Sayers Road about 12.15pm, when an unknown vehicle cut him off.
The victim, who was driving a grey Nissan Altima, and the unknown vehicle, thought to be a blue sedan, both pulled over to the side of the road.
Officers have been told both drivers exited their vehicles, before the unknown male driver allegedly stabbed the victim in the stomach.
The 30-year-old Hoppers Crossing man managed to drive himself to a nearby medical facility and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries
