Armed Crime Squad detectives are investigating after a man sustained a gunshot wound in Altona Meadows overnight.
Investigators have been told that the man, aged in his 20s, was shot on Oakdene Grove around 12.30am.
He managed to make his way to a nearby fast-food restaurant where emergency services were contacted.
The victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
