Man punched by offender

Police are investigating an incident in Hoppers Crossing this morning in which a man was punched in the face.
Police believe the victim was standing on Willmott Drive when he was approached by a man around 8am.
The victim was asked to hand over his keys and mobile phone.
A short altercation broke out and the victim was punched in the face, resulting in some bruising.
The offender fled the scene, running towards Warringa Crescent Reserve.
He is described as of African appearance, about 188cm tall, wearing black Nike tracksuit pants, red and white runners and a coloured tee-shirt.
