Police are investigating an assault by a group of men in Point Cook on Monday afternoon that has left a man in hospital.
It’s believed the victim was approached by six males on Saltwater Boulevard just after 1.30pm on April 15.
He sustained lacerations in the assault that followed before the males fled the scene.
The victim was treated by emergency services at the scene and then taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated.
