Man hospitalised after Tarneit crash

A man has been taken to hospital with critical injuries following a single-vehicle crash in Tarneit on Monday, February 7.

Police said they believe a black sedan was travelling along Tarneit Road when the driver crashed near the intersection of Ankuri Road about 2am.

The car then burst into flames.

Emergency services responded and extinguished the fire before transporting the vehicle’s male sole occupant to hospital with critical injuries.

Police are investigating the crash and urge anyone who witnessed the sedan travelling in the lead up to the incident to come forward.
