Man charged after sexual assaults in Wyndham

A Wyndham Vale man has been charged after he allegedly sexually assaulted a number of women in Wyndham in the past week.

Detectives from Footscray Sexual Offence and Child Abuse Investigation Team allege that four of the incidents occurred at a bottle shop on Point Cook Road in Sanctuary Lakes on 14 January.

The second alleged incident occurred yesterday at a house in Federal Drive, Wyndham Vale, about 12.45pm.

The 23-year-old man has been charged with five counts of sexual assault and one count of false imprisonment and fronted Melbourne Magistrates’ Court overnight.
