Police have charged a man following an alleged assault in Hoppers Crossing on Saturday night.
Officers were called to reports that a man had been allegedly knocked unconscious during an altercation at a Horne Street licensed premises about 11.45pm on March 30.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police have charged a 31-year-old Sunshine man with recklessly causing injury.
He has been bailed to appear before Werribee Magistrates’ Court on August 27.
