Wyndham Libraries will celebrate Family History Month in August with a series of workshops and information sessions for residents.

Workshops will provide people with the opportunity to delve deeper into their heritage, family history and background.

DNA matching skilled expert Diane Cuff will host an online session on Tuesday, August 2, from 10-11am.

For family history beginners, learn what resources are available in an information session at Hoppers Crossing Library on Thursday, August 18 from 11am-noon.

Family Search’s Jenny Harkness will talk about the biggest genealogical database in the world and how to get the most out of it on Wednesday, August 10, from 11am-noon.

Wyndham Libraries will also have a dedicated Family and Local History Librarian available to help people in their quest for answers every Wednesday between 10-11am at Hoppers Crossing Library, or by appointment.

Family History Groups also run at Hopper Crossing Library on the last Saturday of the month and at Manor Lakes Library on the second Tuesday of the month.
