Lots of vroom to groove at Hoppers Crossing car show

Start your engines – this car show will delight revheads and classic car enthusiasts of all stripes.

The sixth annual Hoppers Crossing Sports Club and E.J. Whitten Foundation Car Show will serve up the goods on Sunday, April 7, from 7.30am to 1pm at Hogans Road Reserve.

John Culhane from the Hoppers Crossing Sports Club said about 200 muscle cars, antiques, luxury cars, bikes and other models would be displayed with awards going to the best vehicles on show. There will be a live band, sausage sizzle, market stalls, Marvel characters and a fundraising auction. Ted Whitten jnr and footy legend Doug Hawkins will be special guests.

Proceeds raised will be split between the Hoppers Crossing Sports Club and E.J. Whitten Foundation for research into men’s health.

Entry to the car show will cost a gold coin donation.
