Kids see life in the roar

This playful bunch are picture paw-fect.

Lioness Nilo and lion Tombo both celebrated special birthdays earlier this month … Nilo turned four and Tombo 20 on March 17.

The pair, plus five-month-old cubs Kito, Kashka and Kubwa, will be entertaining kids at Werribee Open Range Zoo during the school holidays.

Until June 24, as part of a Learning to Roar program, zoo-goers can see the cubs at play, meet the keepers, play lion-themed games and hear the curious tale of How the Lion Got its Roar.
