Wyndham residents braved the cold in anticipation of a community soccer clinic hosted by Melbourne City FC and Lotus Living.

Qualified coaches from Melbourne City offered football activities for kids of all abilities at the Jubilee estate in Wyndham Vale.

Jubilee’s office and public relations manager Nicole Mutimer said the clinic was a great success and the first of its kind since the easing of COVID-19 restrictions.

“It was an absolutely fantastic afternoon that was thoroughly enjoyed by all the children and families,” Ms Mutimer said.

“All the kids not only had a lot of fun but have learned so much already from the drills and games that were done with all the coaches.

“We hope you enjoyed the day, improved your soccer skills, and are looking forward to the next season.”

Parents were treated to a free hot drink and members from the Werribee Centrals Cricket Club were on sausage sizzle duty.

The free session was open to all Wyndham residents on Wednesday, July 27, Stanmore Crescent Park.
