Indoor water park proposed for new estate

Residents of Wyndham Vale’s newest estate will be making a splash if plans for an indoor water park are approved by Wyndham council.

The proposed indoor park, believed to be an Australian first of its kind, will be open exclusively to the residents of the Jubilee estate.

It will be the first of many residents-only clubs to built in the estate over the next 10-15 years.

The multimillion-dollar water park will feature a leisure pool, lap pool, waterslides and a special splash zone.

The estate, on Ballan Road, is expected to become home to 20,000 residents over the next 15 years.

It will also feature a 5.4-hectare town centre, a neighbourhood centre and 77 hectares of parkland.

Daniel Smith, the project director of developer Lotus Living, said: “Jubilee’s water park will cater to all ages, from our special splash zone that lets kids of all ages and non-swimmers cool off in an interactive fun zone with water sprays, spurts and water cannons, to a lap pool and water slides.

“There’s truly something for everyone.

“In designing and creating the water park, we wanted to give our future residents something they can enjoy with the kids, grandkids and generations to come.”
