Hoppers Crossing woman charged with assault

Police have charged a Hoppers Crossing woman following an investigation into alleged sex assaults.

Police allege that a 12-year-old child was assaulted multiple times over a 12-month period at a school in Sale in 1999.

According to police, the matter was reported in 2021.

The 51-year-old woman has been charged with 26 offences including indecent assault and sexual penetration of a child under 16.

The woman was charged on summons and is expected to appear in court on November 25.
