Hoppers Crossing home invasion

Police are investigating a home invasion in Hoppers Crossing on Wednesday morning that left a man in hospital with head injuries.

Investigators have been told two offenders broke into the Virgilia Drive home about 2.15am on May 1.

A man home at the time was assaulted by the two offenders and later transported to hospital with head injuries.

Two other people home at the time were not injured.

The offenders then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle, a 2007 silver Holden Berlina.
