Police are investigating a burglary in Hoppers Crossing this month.
It is believed an unknown male broke into a house in the suburb earlier this month.
A number of items, including a credit card, were stolen. The card has since been used at numerous shops in the Werribee, Tarneit and Point Cook areas.
Investigators have released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
