Five-year-old twins Jimmy and Estelle are among the children across Melbourne who are looking forward to Easter.
Although the world has changed a lot in recent weeks, youngsters in the northern and western suburbs will still be able to enjoy simple pleasures like waking up to find colourfully-wrapped chocolate eggs on Sunday, April 12.
Star Weekly understands the Easter Bunny, and Easter Bilby, will be making deliveries of eggs across the state this weekend.
Many Easter activities planned for the wider community have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, including the Cadbury Easter Picnic & Egg Hunt at Werribee Mansion, which was scheduled to take place on Good Friday.
The annual event is a fundraiser for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
Although the event has been cancelled this year, Cadbury will still donate $100,000 to the appeal.
