A house fire on Hogans Road, Tarneit has been brought under control.
Fire crews arrived at the home at about 3.47pm on Thursday, September 28 to find tyres, other rubbish and grass all on fire in the backyard.
The situation was brought under control at about 3.53pm and no one was injured.
Traffic along Hogans Road has been disrupted and motorists are advised to detour down Bethany Drive.
The house is understood to have been abandoned.
