It’s not every day you turn three. It was party central at Werribee Open Range Zoo this morning as Pansy the hippo celebrated her third birthday.
The half-tonne toddler and her mum Brindabella celebrated the milestone with a specially-made birthday cake full of fresh summer fruits and vegetables.
Zoo keeper Michael Kidman said like most toddlers, Pansy has a very curious and playful character.
