High tech shopping

In what is believed to be an Australian first, two Wyndham shopping centres have launched a community engagement platform named HQ.

Manor Lakes Central and Tarneit Central have introduced the platform, a dedicated community engagement hub and instant loyalty programme, which can be accessed via QR codes and URLs.

HQ features interactive digital campaigns such as exclusive retailer specials and giveaways, live trivia games, Spotify playlists, videos and games, competitions, instant rewards via digital coupons and local community and sporting group competitions and club-based activity.

HQ is an initiative of Digital engagement platform, Komo Digital, and the platform has been introduced at Manor Lakes and Tarneit by the shopping centres’ developer and operator Ranfurlie Asset Management (RAM).

Ranfurlie Asset Management general manager of marketing, Lisa Charter, said that in a post-COVID environment, centre marketing wanted to find new ways to drive traffic, support retailers and build strong direct relationships with customers.

“We believe HQ is the first of its kind in Australia in same size centres as Tarneit Central and Manor Lakes Central,” Ms Charter said.

“HQ will provide constant value, interactive content, competitions and rewards to our shoppers and is ‘always on’– while at the same time allow us to learn more about our customers to provide a more personalised shopping experience.”

HQ can be downloaded in centre simply by scanning the QR codes on display or connecting through the dedicated URLs for each centre.

See the Tarneit Central Facebook page and Manor Lakes Central Facebook page to keep up to date with HQ activities.
