It’s time to don your Sunday best and enjoy cake stands full of ribbon sandwiches, petit fours and scones with jam and cream.
Wyndham mayor Adele Hegedich is inviting residents to indulge their sweet tooth this Sunday when she hosts the Mayoral High Tea, which will raise money to support younger people with disabilities and high care needs.
Cr Hegedich said the event would be a fun way to raise money for charity.
“The Mayoral High Tea is going to be an afternoon of high- class entertainment and a chance to socialise with other members of the community, all while raising money for a worthy cause,” she said.
“As mayor of Wyndham, it a great privilege to be able to help bring the community together while supporting people with disabilities and high care needs.”
The event will run at the Wyndham Civic Centre between 2-4pm. Tickets are $55.
