High flyers taking on Italy

Emmasyn and Sienna are making moves to take on the world.
The high-flying dancing duo, both 11, have been selected to represent Australia at the Dance World Cup in Italy in June.
The competition attracts thousands of dancers and troupes from across the globe vying for a title in jazz, tap, contemporary, hip-hop, ballet, acrobatics and musical theatre.
Emmasyn, from Hoppers Crossing, and Melton’s Sienna have been dancing since they were three and teamed up this year for their first performances as a duo.
The girls, who dance with Galactic Dance and Events, are no strangers to success claiming national titles at last year’s Gold Coast championships in the overall duo/trio categories.
Galactic Dance director Andrew Micallef said he was proud of the duo’s achievements.
“What a wonderful achievement and what an amazing experience this will be for them,” Mr Micallef said.
