Volunteers at the Uniting Opportunity Shop in Werribee are calling for donations.

The op shop is seeking donations of good quality children’s clothing and footwear, womens winter clothing, manchester, and “bric-a-brac”.

Volunteer programs co-ordinator Shelley Johnston said the community is key in keeping the op shop stocked.

“The op shop relies on the community support in giving what they can,” she said.

“The funds we raise go back to helping other programs at Uniting.”

Donations must be of good quality, with no rips or stains.

Ms Johnston said donations should be akin to what you would pass down to a family member.

Donations can be made at the store on Synnot Street, located next to the Crossroads Uniting Church, Mondays to Fridays from 10 am to 3pm, and Saturdays from 9.30am to 1.30pm.
