Police charged a Truganina man on Monday 6 October for possessing an illegal shotgun and narcotics after executing a search warrant.
The 45-year-old was charged with possessing a firearm contrary to Firearm Prohibition Order (FPO) and possessing drugs of dependence.
He was remanded overnight to appear at Sunshine Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 7 October.
A sawn-off 44 Ruger shotgun, an imitation handgun and what police say appeared to be dried cannabis and methylamphetamine were seized from his address.
