A Werribee business will soon host a paw-fectly cute fundraising day for the RSPCA.
Loan Market will be in full-on bake mode when it takes part in the RSPCA’s annual Cupcake Day on August 21.
Loan Market, a mortgage-broking business, is known for having an animal-friendly office where clients are sometimes greeted by a dog or cat.
Director Doreen Lehmann said her two miniature dachshunds, Henry and Alice, were frequent visitors to the office.
In addition, her colleague, Catherine Estoseres, brings her elderly Australian terrier cross, Millie, to work most days.
“All of us in the office are very passionate about animal welfare and we all have pets and they come to the office,” Ms Estoseres said.
Loan Market’s office cat, Banksy, was adopted as a kitten after he was found living behind the company’s building.
Members of the public and their dogs have been invited to the Loan Market Cupcake Day from 9am-5pm on Monday, August 21. Cost: gold coin donation.
