Fun day open to all

The 12th annual Stella Maris Catholic Primary School Family Fun Day is set to return for 2023 and the Wyndham community is invited to attend.

Principal Stephen Harrison said the festival, which will take place from 10am-4pm on Saturday, February 25, will have rides for kids of all ages, an animal petting zoo, eleven food trucks, market stalls and entertainment on the stage.

“Every year we celebrate the diversity and talents within our community,” Mr Harrison said.

“This event happens because our parents are amazingly talented and generous.

“The Fun Day brings it all together.”

Mr Harrison said the staff, parents and students were excitedly anticipating the event, which he says draws thousands.

The funds raised by attendees is used by the school to help purchase equipment and other necessities.

“Over our 12 years our parents and friends have raised over $550,000,” Mr Harrison said.

“All this money has helped build our outdoor environment to be what it is.

“We have a great community who loves to have fun together and raise funds for the school.”

The event will take place at Stella Maris Catholic Primary School, 54-70 Innisfail Drive, Point Cook.
