February 24, 1982 A blitz on speeding and overloaded sand trucks is being sought by Werribee Shire Council following an incident last week in which a near miss occurred in Werribee township. There has been long-standing concern throughout the town in relation to the movement of both laden and unladen sand and crushed rock trucks through the central area of Werribee.
