A family-friendly music and arts event, The Lost Lands 2018 festival, will be staged at Werribee Park later this year.

The festival to be held on the weekend of November 3 and 4, will feature famous singers and bands including Tim Finn, The Jungle Giants, Clare Bowditch, Kate Miller-Heidke and You Am I.

Other acts to play at the festival are Boo Seeka, Mallrat, Baker Boy, All Our Exes Live in Texas, Didirri and Alice Ivy.

The festival program was officially announced at Werribee Park last week.

The Lost Lands will feature multiple stages and areas with installations, arts programs, comedy, theatre and children’s entertainment, in the form of wonder “lands” for them to explore.

The “Arts and Wonder” line-up of the festival will include Gravity and Other Myths, The Listies, Born in a Taxi, Bed Sheet Ghost Party, Dr Hubble’s Bubble Show, Games of the World, High Voltage Rock School, Laughter Yoga, Madhouse Circus, The Burnt Sausages and The Circus Firemen.

Festival organisers Simon Daly and David Strong said they were looking forward to seeing the gardens of Werribee Park come to life during the event.

“We’re thrilled to present The Lost Lands for a second year, especially given the range of diverse performers featured in our Music and Arts and Wonder program,” Mr Daly said.

Mr Daly and Mr Strong also thanked Parks Victoria for their support.

Tickets will be between $25 and $40 for children, and $95 to $170 for adults.
