The 2025 Victorian Education Excellence Awards recognising inspirational teachers, principals, assistant principals, business managers and education support staff, are now open for nominations.

The awards honour individuals and school teams that have made a significant contribution to education in Victoria while also supporting the continued professional development of staff.

Professional learning grants worth $20,000 are available for each individual award winner, and $25,000 for each team award.

The winner of the Lindsay Thompson Award for Excellence receives a further professional learning grant of $20,000.

“I encourage all schools to nominate innovative teachers, principals, support staff and teams making a real difference for the next generation,” said Education Minister Ben Carroll.

Nominations are made at a school level and are open until Monday May 31, with winners to be announced on Friday October 24.
