Hop to it: Werribee Mercy Hospital will hold an Easter Fair later this month to fundraise for its new Critical Care Unit.

The hospital fair was first held in 1994 and continued for 16 years, before being reintroduced three years ago.

Mercy Health chief executive health services, adjunct professor Linda Mellors, said the fair would include an Easter egg hunt, live entertainment, stalls run by members of the community and staff, handmade gifts, crafts, food trucks, children’s activities, rides and an appearance from the Easter Bunny.

Adjunct professor Mellors said money raised on the day would go towards fitting out the hospital’s new critical care unit, which is set to open mid-year.

The fair will be on Sunday, March 25 from 11am to 3pm at the Victoria University campus in Hoppers Lane, Werribee.

Admission is free and ride wristbands will be available to buy on the day.
