Dumped kittens looking for furr-ever homes

These tiny black kittens are already down on one of their nine lives.

A resident found the four kittens dumped in a bin at a Tarneit park across from Secret Garden Way on January 21.

The eight-week-old kittens were hot, dehydrated and panting heavily when animal rangers arrived and immediately received first-aid treatment at the Wyndham city pound.

The kittens have been nursed back to health and are looking for their furr-ever homes.

Cr Heather Marcus said it was lucky the kittens were found in time.

“I think it’s fairly safe to say that they wouldn’t have lasted much longer,” Cr Marcus said.
