Drugs and cash seized, arrests in Hoppers Crossing and Wyndham Vale

Police have arrested three men following a series of alleged burglaries and thefts in the northern suburbs over the past two months.

Detectives yesterday executed a warrant at a residence in Herbert Avenue, Hoppers Crossing about 9pm, during which the arrests took place.

A 27-year-old man from Wyndham Vale has been charged with 39 charges including burglary, thefts and trespass offences.

He has been remanded to appear at Sunshine Magistrates Court on September 11.

A a 33-year-old man from Altona Meadows has been charged with a total of 45 charges which include burglary, theft and trespass offences.

He has been remanded to appear at Sunshine Magistrates Court on August 28.

A 30-year-old Hoppers Crossing man has been remanded to appear at the Sunshine Magistrates Court on July 30 after being charged with two counts of handle stolen goods.

Police also executed a warrant at a residential property on Brett Place, Wyndham Vale yesterday, where they recovered allegedly stolen property, drugs and cash.

The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
