Police caught a driver allegedly speeding at 116 kilometres per hour in a roadworks zone of Tarneit on Friday.
Police intercepted the driver just before 8.30pm on Leakes Road, in an area where the speed limit had been reduced to 40 kilometres per hour.
The driver’s car was impounded and their licence was suspended too.
