A 22-year-old Wyndham man has been charged after a police pursuit in Wyndham Vale yesterday.
Police allege the driver sped off when they attempted to pull over a Holden Commodore as part of a routine intercept on Ballan Road just after midnight.
Police initiated a short pursuit, but called it off for safety reasons.
A man was later arrested at a residence in Opala Court, Wyndham Vale. He has been charged with committing an indictable offence while on bail, reckless conduct endangering life and a number of traffic and driving-related offences.
He was remanded to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court at a later date
