Dogs on a health kick

The Western Bulldogs Sons of the West men’s health program has returned to Wyndham.

A Western Bulldogs project that helps men take care of their health and wellbeing will soon return to the west.

The Sons of the West’s Premiership Season program will soon kick off in Wyndham, Brimbank, Maribyrnong, Hobsons Bay and Melton.

The Premiership Season is the second Sons of the West program for the year.

Run by the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation, the 10-week program helps men to embrace healthy eating, physical activity and good mental health.

Participants also get opportunities to be involved with match-day experiences and win merchandise signed by Western Bulldogs players.

The Sons of the West is open to all men aged 18 and above.

Men hoping to join the Premiership Season program are being encouraged to get their mates to sign up as well.

The Sons of the West Premiership program will be run at two sites in Wyndham – at Grange P-12 College in Hoppers Crossing on Tuesdays from May 23 to July 25; and at Point Cook’s Carranballac College Boardwalk campus on Wednesday nights, with sessions to be run from May 24 to July 26.

To join the program, simply turn up at one of the venues. See sonsofthewest.org.au for details.
