DJ equipment stolen from car in Hoppers Crossing

DJ equipment valued at between $10,000 to $15,000 has been stolen from a car in Hoppers Crossing.

An unknown thief, or thieves, broke into the vehicle on Thursday morning, when it was parked in Virgilia Drive.

The theft occurred shortly after 5am.

CCTV footage of a car seen in the vicinity of Virgilia Drive around the time of the crime has been released.

The owner of the car also reported the theft to police, who attended the scene.
