Council wants to hear your opinion

Knock, knock, who’s there? It may just be a surveyor asking for your opinion on Wyndham council.

In coming weeks, surveyors from Metropolis Research will be knocking on the doors of Wyndham residents, as part of the council’s community satisfaction survey.

The council conducts the annual survey to find out which areas of its work residents are pleased with and what they think needs improving.

Deputy mayor Walter Villagonzalo said Wyndham council hoped to get more than 1200 responses to the survey.

He said the survey would include questions about the council’s customer experience and service delivery, performance, community safety, healthy living and travel.

“Hearing this feedback from our residents is important, as it helps us understand what we’re doing well, where we can improve, and how to better plan to meet the needs of all residents,” Cr Villagonzalo said.

The survey staff will be wearing identification cards with both the Metropolis Research and Wyndham council logos.
