Police have revealed they processed 44 people in Wyndham last week as part of a two-night operation on 4 and 5 February.
Operation Shows is regularly run in the area, with local police teaming up with specialist units including the Air Wing and Dog Squad to target car thefts and dangerous driving.
In total, 44 people were processed for 68 offences including driving whilst suspended, conduct endangering persons, dangerous driving, theft and weapon offences.
Two stolen cars were recovered and two cars were impounded.
Police located a sword inside a car on McMurray Crescent in Hoppers Crossing. The driver, a 25-year-old man from Campbellfield, was allegedly driving on a disqualified licence.
Another man, a 23-year-old from Point Cook, is facing six charges including conduct endangering persons, driving while disqualified and resisting arrest.
Operation Shows continues to build intelligence around networked offending and those out conducting criminal activity overnight, particularly in stolen cars.
