Two police officers were taken to hospital overnight after a cop car crashed into a Hoppers Crossing house.
The police officers were responding to reports of a fire in Hoppers Crossing when the driver lost control of the vehicle, veered off the road and slammed into the front of the Palm Street house about 8pm on Sunday.
Emergency services were called to the scene and the two police officers were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said the two male occupants of the house were not injured.
The small fire was contained to the garage and was extinguished.
