Construction on new social housing in Werribee finishes

Construction has finished on 26 new social homes on Stewart Drive in Werribee.

The project was delivered through Haven Home Safe – a not-for-profit organisation supporting Victorians at risk of homelessness and women and children escaping family violence– with a $9 million investment from the state government.

According to the state government, the three-bedroom homes will have been designed to be modern and energy efficient to save renters on utilities.

Werribee MP John Lister unveiled the homes on Friday, April 4, and said more families in Werribee will have access to a safe and secure home close to schools, the Werribee River Park, and other services.
