Comedy lovers are in for laughter galore as the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow rolls into Wyndham.
The Roadshow will be held at the Wyndham Cultural Centre on April 30 with a packed two-hour program.
This year’s line-up will include ex-teacher Ben Knight, Bev Killick of Kath and Kim, Adelaide Comedian of the Year Georgie Carroll, comedy duo Double Denim and host Tom Cashman.
Wyndham arts, culture and heritage portfolio holder Tony Hooper said this year’s program was good for many laughs.
“What a great opportunity to catch up with friends and family and enjoy a night of comedy right here in Wyndham,” Cr Hooper said. “Showcasing a range of festival stand-up, satire and sketch comedy, the
Roadshow has something for everyone.”
The Wyndham Cultural Centre’s season of comedy will continue into May with television personality and comedian Tommy Little’s latest show,
Self-Diagnosed Genius, on May 31.
Little (pictured above) is back on home soil after surviving an Antarctic ice marathon in December and has a cracking story to share.
In Self-Diagnosed Genius, he mines his life of “bad choices and dubious decisions” for big laughs.
