Good News Lutheran College students are preparing to put the full gamut of their creative talents on show.

The Tarneit college’s production of Lost in the Music will be performed across three concerts this week.

Apart from students who are singing and playing musical instruments during the show, several textiles students have helped to make the colourful costumes.

The head of the college’s senior school and production co-director, Christine Taylor, said Lost in the Music featured songs from musicals both old and new, including Oliver!, West Side Story, Cabaret, Grease, Wicked, Hairspray and Hamilton.

“It is a family show with a lovely storyline about a grandmother reconnecting with her granddaughter,” Ms Taylor said. “There’ll definitely be something for every taste.”

The musical will be performed on Friday, August 10, from 7.30pm and on Saturday, August 11, from 2.30pm and 7.30pm at Altona City Theatre, 115 Civic Parade, Altona.

Tickets $25 for adults and $15 for student/child. Bookings: flexischools.com.au
