Al-Taqwa College students dressed to impress when they donned costumes for a book character dress-up on Monday.
Students at the Truganina school also took part in activities for Literacy, Numeracy & Book Week and its theme of Escape to Everywhere.
During the week, Don’t Move Puppet Theatre staged shows at the college.
The school also hosted a book swap day and a Buddy Reading Day, in which upper primary school students read with younger pupils.
And the Poem in Your Pocket Challenge invited children at the school to carry a poem around in their pockets.
