Wyndham council has signed three climate change advocacy campaigns. As the United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) continued in Glasgow last week, the council signed the Better Futures Declaration and joined the Cities Race to Zero and Race to Resilience campaigns. Wyndham’s climate future and environment portfolio holder, Cr Robert Szatkowski, said: “We only have one chance at saving our climate from irreparable damage, and Wyndham city residents, business owners and community members have much to gain from the opportunity of cleaner, greener energy.”
