Celebrating cultural diversity was the order of the day at Cambridge Primary School last Thursday.
The Hoppers Crossing school, which is home to 46 different nationalities, was among many in Wyndham to observe Harmony Day, which is held on March 21 each year as a celebration of Australia’s multiculturalism.
Students Eva and Myaah, pictured, were among those who donned cultural garb for the day, while others wore the colour orange, which signifies social communication and meaningful conversations.
Students, parents and teachers also learnt how to do a traditional Haka during their lunchtime break.
