Victorians looking for a new job or a career change can now access free advice and support from a 600-strong force of advocates, mentors and counsellors. The $260 million employment service is being established as part of the state government’s Jobs Victoria initiative. Werribee MP Tim Pallas said: “Having support staff on the ground helping people prepare for and find work will make a huge difference for jobseekers in western Melbourne.”
