Campbells Cove break-ins

Police are appealing for information about a series of break-ins at Campbells Cove.

Police are investigating “around five or six burglaries” across several nights at the Werribee South site during the Christmas period.

Offenders forced entry to some of the boat sheds and beach boxes at the cove, stealing items inside the properties.

Police said the break-ins were discovered after owners visited the site earlier this month.

Police said as Campbells Cove was relatively isolated, often no one was around to report the break-ins when they occurred.

Wyndham police have since increased patrols in the area.

Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
