Cambridge Primary School pupils tapped into their inner artists in preparation for the school’s visual arts exhibition, which showcased more than 2000 works.
Pupils across all year levels demonstrated their artistic talents via drawings, paintings and installation pieces incorporating themes as diverse as self portraits and ice creams.
Visual arts teacher Shelley Menhennet said the school hosted a two-day arts showcase every second year, and aimed to exhibit at least one art piece per pupil.
“It’s a way to showcase the visual arts program to the school community,” Ms Menhennet said.
“A lot of the pieces have taken weeks and weeks and weeks for the kids to do.”
